As the calendar turned to December, women everywhere rejoiced that the month of November and "Movember" moustaches everywhere are a thing of the past.

From Nov. 1-30 in the now annual and widespread fundraiser, men around the globe grow moustaches to bring awareness to men's health including prostate and testicular cancer and to raise money.

This year, over $104 million (CDN) was raised worldwide with Canada accounting for nearly $29 million.

Though the totals are slightly down from last year ($109 million worldwide, $35 million in Canada in 2012), once again NHL players pulled their weight by raising funds for both stellar and also spectacularly awful moustaches. The Montreal Canadiens finished first among NHL teams, raising over $44,000.

Here are some great examples of hockey moustaches from 2013 as tweeted by the players themselves.

Take a look and then vote in our polls for the best and worst "Mo Bros" of the year.
