New police documents released by the courts that allege that Mayor Rob Ford tried to buy the infamous crack tape and that he may have smoked heroin, sparked a Twitter storm on Wednesday.

The documents are part of the drug-trafficking investigation of Rob Ford's sometimes driver and friend Alexander Lisi. Members of the media quickly tweeted out highlights from the documents.

They were soon joined by a chorus of citizens and pundits who have been watching the Rob Ford scandal closely for months. See some of the best tweets below:
