PICTOU, N.S. - The Nova Scotia and federal governments will spend $2.75 million on three infrastructure projects in the province's Pictou County.

The provincial government says upgrades will be made to Pictou's water utilities and about 565 metres of combined sewers will be separated in Trenton.

The towns of Trenton and Pictou will contribute $342,000 for the water and wastewater initiatives.

About nine kilometres of Highway 348 is also being repaved.
