'22 Minutes' Carol Celebrates Christmas Baby Justin Trudeau (VIDEO)

Merry Trudeaumania! '22 Minutes' Carol Celebrates Justin's B-Day

'This Hour Has 22 Minutes' is getting into the holiday spirit through song, but instead of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, they're honouring another "shining star" – Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, born on Dec. 25, 1971.

The show's Trudeaumania-inspired tune is a spoof of disco group Boney M's groovy cover of 'Mary's Boy Child.' And it's pretty cringe-worthy.

Just take a look at some of the lyrics:

"Hark now hear the Liberals sing, a king was born today. And we'll relive Trudeaumania because of Christmas Day."

Yep.

The 'This Hour Has 22 Minutes' holiday special airs on CBC TV at 8 p.m. on Dec. 10.
