UFC president Dana White also announced that St-Pierre will join him on a 2:20 p.m. ET media conference call.
St-Pierre, 32, is the reigning welterweight champion and the circuit's top draw, but he hinted at stepping away from the octagon following his latest title defence at UFC 167 in Las Vegas on Nov. 16.
St-Pierre, who won the fight in a controversial split-decision over top contender Johny Hendricks at MGM Grand Arena, admitted afterward that he was dealing with undisclosed personal issues.
White promptly - and publicly - chastised St-Pierre over his admission, then backpeddled somewhat after they met privately and expressed confidence that the famed Montrealer would keep fighting.
St-Pierre (25-2) is unbeaten since April 2007, winning 12 straight fights, including nine title defences.
