SEATTLE - An American coach and substitute teacher from a private school in Seattle is facing voyeurism and child pornography charges in British Columbia.

The Seattle Times reports Jason C. Paur, 43, was arrested on Tuesday after students reportedly discovered a video camera during a school-sponsored ski-team trip.

The camera, which the school says belonged to Paur, was reportedly in a room occupied by girls at the Silver Star ski resort near Vernon, B.C.

Neil MacKenzie, a spokesman for the B.C. Criminal Justice Branch, told the newspaper Thursday that Paur was being held on three counts of voyeurism.

He`s also charged with possessing child pornography, accessing child pornography and three counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit an indictable offence.

Paur, who has not yet entered a plea, made his first court appearance Wednesday and is scheduled to return to court next Wednesday. No bail amount has been set.

The Bush School said in a statement that Paur has worked periodically at the school since 1996 and has been placed on administrative leave.
