With all the chaos of family dinners, opening presents and snow forts that's about to happen next week, it's not always easy to capture the moment.
And despite the camera always being out, Jason Thomson, curator of online photography community Frame One, says this time of the year brings out some of the worst photography.
"With the glut of cameras and cell phones, we’re taking more photos than ever," Thomson says. "Sure, we love the idea of holiday photos, but unless you hire a pro, they never seem to turn out just right."
Yes, we're talking about those blurry shots, awkward smiles and the inability to capture your 5-year-old's face opening her present on Christmas morning. And while you're going to be busier than ever, the last thing you want to deal with is a collection of bad photos.
