The Penguin That Wore Shoes
Akemi, a cute little penguin at the Calgary Zoo (who has since died), made headlines this year after getting a <a href="http://www.calgaryzoo.com/keep-it-wild/calgary-zoos-shoe-wearing-penguin-makes-splash-re-opening" target="_blank">pair of cozies after suffering from a bacterial foot infection. </a>
