VANCOUVER - Vancouver police say a body found on Dec. 31 in the water at a marina in False Creek has been identified as Matthew Huszar.
He was 25 years old when he was last seen leaving an office Christmas party just before midnight on Dec. 16, 2011 (near Water and Abbott Street).
Huszar never arrived at his apartment on Vancouver's eastside.
Police said in a statement that the investigation into Huszar’s disappearance and death does not indicate anything suspicious and foul play is not suspected.
Police say they have been in contact with the Huszar family and ask that the media respect their privacy at this time.
