Greyhounds Are The New Supermodels
Trussardi

Kate Upton who?

Greyhounds (that's right, the huge dogs) have replaced models for a new fashion campaign for Italian label Trussardi.

The label dressed up the dogs (the brand's mascot) in the latest spring 2014 men's fashions including a brown snakeskin coat, a blue leather jacket, a brown backpack and printed button-ups.

The campaign, which was shot by famous photographer William Wegman, comes at a time when traditional models are being substituted for their furry companions; "Dogue" magazine (a parody of Vogue) dresses up dogs in the latest fashions and the Tumblr Menswear Dog uses a Shiba Inu to model jackets and sweaters which shoppers can buy online.

Wegman, who is known for his famous photos of Weimaraners, said of the project:

"I dedicate this project to the greyhounds of Trussardi, mysteriously calm, wonderfully photogenic, and, most of all, incredibly elegant."

We couldn't agree more!
