Pedestrian struck, killed by GO Train in Aurora

GO Transit has suspended service on the Barrie line after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Aurora some time after 5 a.m. Tuesday.

A GO Train was stopped on the section of tracks near St. John's Sideroad east of Yonge Street.

The delay is expected to take about two hours to clear and will affect the following trains:

- The Allandale Waterfront 05:22 - Union 07:03 train trip is holding north of Aurora.

- The Allandale Waterfront 5:52 - Union 07:33 train trip is holding at Bradford.

- The Allandale Waterfront 06:22 - Union 08:03 train trip is holding at Allandale Waterfront.

- The Allandale Waterfront 06:52 - Union 08:33 train trip is holding at Allandale Waterfront.

GO Trainsit is recommending passengers go to the Richmond Hill line.
