Vancouver General Hospital TV Show's Scar Stories Want Your ER Experiences

Share Your Scar Story

To get people excited about this month's premiere of "Emergency Room: Life and Death at VGH," The Knowledge Network has launched a program that allows fans to share their own medical tales.

Scar Stories lets people upload photos and stories of their most memorable/favourite/worst body scars.

"Everyone has one," the website states. "Uplifting ones, sad ones, and even gross ones. Chances are you've been to the ER at least once, or perhaps you've just spent a few hours in the waiting room. What we want to hear is your experience and story."

One story outlines a woman's dangerous use of a well-sharpened knife, while another details how "barnacles are not your friend."

Interesting? Yup. Gross. Yup.
