David Cronenberg, Paul Henderson among those to be named to Order of Ontario

Movie director David Cronenberg and hockey great Paul Henderson are among more than two dozen prominent Canadians who will be awarded the Order of Ontario today.

The honours will be handed out by Lt.-Gov. David Onley.

TVOntario host Steve Paikin and Toronto International Film Festival director Piers Handling are also among the recipients, along with former Liberal politicians Alvin Curling and Lynn MacLeod.

The ceremony will be held at the provincial legislature at 4 p.m.
