Woman stabbed by 2 men who waited to attack, police say

Two men sat in a parked vehicle and waited for a woman to walk out of a Toronto residence on Thursday morning, at which point they stabbed the victim "several times" and fled the scene, police say.

Toronto police say the attack occurred in the Bayview Avenue and Glenvale Boulevard area, shortly before 7 a.m.

The assailants fled the scene in a late-model vehicle, which police say may be silver or white. They were last seen heading westbound on Broadway Avenue.

Police say that a third man may have been inside the vehicle during the attack.
