Super Bowl 2014: Rob Ford's Broncos Prediction Totally Wrong

Rob Ford's Super Bowl Prediction...

Well, Rob Ford blew it. No, we're not talking about a political foul-up. We're talking about Mayor Ford's other, other big love, football.

Ford had predicted that the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning would be the victors at Super Bowl 48. Well, that didn't exactly go to plan. Seattle won the game 43-8 in one of the most lopsided Super Bowls ever.

Broncos fans cringed when the scandal-plagued mayor picked their team to win it all.

"Why Rob Ford, why did you have to wear a Broncos jersey. Ughh. Regardless, Go Broncos," wrote Twitter user @GarnNB.

And maybe they were on to something.

Nah, it was probably Seattle's overwhelming defense and a flat game from Peyton Manning.

Then again, back in November, Mayor Ford may have totally cursed the Toronto Argonauts in the Eastern Conference Semi-final when he showed up wearing their jersey. The Argonauts were up 24-17 but would go on to lose the game 24-36 to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Toronto social media trainer Cher Jones did point out that Ford doesn't have the best track record with supporting sports teams.

Let's just make sure he doesn't wear a Leafs jersey when they make it to the playoffs.
