Toronto Humane Society Puppies Are Looking For A Home

Do You Have A Home For These Puppies?
Toronto Humane Society

UPDATE: According to the Toronto Humane Society's Facebook page, a home has been found for the dogs.

The Toronto Humane Society is looking for a good home — for one dog, and her 11 puppies.

The organization posted this picture on their Facebook site on Tuesday, asking for an experienced person to house Hetzel, the mother and her babies for six to eight weeks:

Like humans, dogs can catch cold germs and other illnesses from being shut inside for extended periods of time, according to PetMD, and puppies are particularly vulnerable to this. Another possible illness is "kennel cough," which comes quite literally from being boarded up with other dogs, and can be fatal for puppies.

If you or someone you know can take on the responsibility of these dogs for a short time, contact the Toronto Humane Society on their Facebook page, or email foster@torontohumanesociety.com.
