Scarlett Johansson has found another way to make us jealous.
The "Her" star posed for photographer Chuck Close in Vanity Fair's "20th Annual Hollywood Issue" without makeup and looks gorgeous. (Seriously, how does she do it?)
The close-up shot shows Ryan Reynolds' ex smiling at the camera and wearing a plain grey sweater with a silver heart necklace and her hair loose and wavy down around her shoulders.
Jezebel reports that Close "worked with a rare 20-by-24-inch Polaroid camera to shoot the images" which include close-ups of other celebs sans Photoshop tomfoolery including Kate Winslet, Brad Pitt and Oprah Winfrey.
Close had a few requirements for the celebrities he photographed for the issue, one being that they were responsible for their own outfits and hair; no professional styling allowed.
The photographer said his photos can be "rough" in a field where airbrushing and Photoshop are standard for celebrity photography. "I don't do glamour shots, and they're not airbrushed or whatever."
He also applauded the A-Listers who didn't mind being photographed without a team of makeup and hair artists to make them look glamorous. "I need to talk people through it," he said. "They have to give up a great deal of vanity in order to do it. And it takes a real act of generosity and faith on the part of the subject to go with it and to give me their image without having any control over what’s gonna happen."
