The Olympics got a bit darker and sexier thanks to Russia's ice dance pair at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi on Sunday.
Elena Ilinykh and Nikita Katsalapov of Team Russia skated to Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" and channeled their inner "Black Swan" with their gorgeous ballet-inspired costumes.
The couple competed in the Team Ice Dance Free Dance on day two of the Sochi Olympics at Iceberg Skating Palace and skated a very difficult program that had us going "What was that??" every five seconds.
But one of the real standouts, aside from that crazy move where Elena stood on her partner's stomach and spread herself out a la swan princess, was their beautiful black and silver outfits: Elena's featured a tulle ballet skirt which resembled a swan's feathers, silver beaded embroidery and sheer black gloves; Nikita's reflected a dark prince with exaggerated shoulders.
The couple ended up third place behind the U.S., who placed first and Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir who placed second. (Props to Team Italy for their "Romeo & Juliet" outfits too.)
