Earlier this week, American Olympian Jamie Anderson very publicly announced that Tinder in the Sochi athletes village was "next level." With thousands of young, fit athletes walking around everywhere, we can see how that would be the case.
Now, a Tumblr has given us a glimpse of what the athletes in Sochi might see if they use the popular dating app.
Sochi On Tinder posts photos of men and women from all over the world, many of whom probably do not need a silly dating app to get a date. We're looking at you, Billy Morgan!
Tinder's creator said on Friday that it has seen 400 per cent spike in use in Sochi since the start of the Games. "We didn’t have a lot of activity in Sochi before the Olympics,” CEO Sean Rad told the Wall Street Journal.
The Wall Street Journal also reported that Grindr, a dating app popular with gay men, saw a big spike in users in Sochi during the Games.
Russia has been heavily criticized for its horrible treatment of homosexuals.
