David Attenborough's Curling Commentary Is Amazing (VIDEO)

WATCH: David Attenborough's Curling Commentary Is Amazing

Have you ever flipped through TV channels on weekend mornings only to find super-serious curling games on? If you can relate, chances are you grew up in Canada.

“What’s going on?” you may have asked yourself. “What's the point of this slippery sport?” Some of these questions may have stayed with you through to adulthood.

Enter Sir David Attenborough.

The BBC somehow convinced the famed narrator to voice a segment of Team Great Britain’s epic Feb. 11 Olympic match in Sochi against Team USA. The result: a playful interpretation of a beloved game through the lens of a naturalist.

“And off she goes: gently but flamboyantly launching the oversized walnut down the frozen river,” describes Attenborough of British skip Anna Sloan’s slide.

“The alpha female’s job is complete,” he continues. “It’s now up to the herd to frantically follow the walnut down the river, gently frisking the foreground.”

Wonderful, right? Listen to Attenborough’s full commentary above.
