Canada's men's hockey team triumphed over the United States by the slimmest of margins on Friday. The 1-0 win was filled with tense moments for Team Canada as they clung to the lead.
Team Canada may have gotten a bit of inspiration from their female counterparts and their monumental come back win on Thursday. The men were at the game when Canada clinched their fourth gold medal in a row in women's hockey.

Canada's women also sent along this inspirational letter to the men before their big game.
Matt Duchene told the CBC's Monica Platek that the team took the letter to heart and it gave them a lift.
Here's hoping that the men can carry the momentum to their gold-medal match-up against Sweden on Sunday.
