Rothesay police officer shoots and kills man

The RCMP in New Brunswick have been called in to investigate after a Rothesay police officer shot and killed a 27-year-old man Friday evening.

The Rothesay Regional Police Force says the shooting happened at around 7 p.m. while they were responding to a violent domestic dispute call on Shipyard Road in Rothesay.

The shooting happened outside a house. The man who was shot was rushed to Saint John Regional Hospital, where he died.
