Canucks' Daniel Sedin leaves game with injury

03/02/2014 06:34 EST | Updated 05/02/2014 05:59 EDT
Daniel Sedin winced, in visible agony while he grasped his left leg.

The Vancouver Canucks forward then got up and skated off the ice, keeled over as he approached the bench.

Sedin had just been levelled into the boards on a hit by Senators defenceman Marc Methot Sunday during the Heritage Classic. The forward's legs appeared to make contact with the boards at an awkward angle, leaving him lying in pain.

He would leave the game and did not return.
