Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is making a Vancouver appearance on Wednesday — but don't expect to hear much about it from mainstream media.
Clinton's talk is hosted by the Board of Trade's Women's Leadership Circle.
The board's Greg Hoekstra says there is no media accreditation for Clinton's speech, according to the Seattle Post Intelligencer.
In response to an email by Vancouver journalist Craig McCulloch, Hoekstra added that Clinton's talk will not be streamed and that it is a "private speaking engagement."
Tickets for the event — ranging from $115 to $440 — are almost sold out.
