Homicide detectives involved in east-end investigation

Toronto police have said little so far about an investigation that saw an Esso gas station cordoned off near Danforth and Greenwood avenues on Sunday.

Police were called to the location for an unknown trouble call on Sunday morning.

Homicide investigators were later called in. A Forensic Identification Services van was parked near the gas pumps.

As of the afternoon, police tape surrounded the gas station and an adjacent Tim Hortons outlet that was also left closed as a result.
