Jordan Nolan suspended 1 game for incident vs. Oilers

The NHL has suspended L.A. Kings forward Jordan Nolan one game for punching an unsuspecting opponent on Sunday in Edmonton.

Nolan was issued a double-minor for roughing on the play, which saw the Kings player punch the Oilers' Jesse Joensu while the Edmonton player was being restrained by a linesman.

Nolan will forfeit $3,589.74 US in salary, which will go to the NHL Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
