Laureen Harper's Cat Video Festival News Is Real And It's Spectacular

Laureen Harper To Introduce Cat Video Festival
PMO

A film festival celebrating Internet cat videos is coming to Toronto and Laureen Harper has been asked to introduce it.

You read that correctly.

In support of the Canadian Federation of Human Societies, the Just for Cats: Internet Cat Video Film Festival will showcase felines in all their sensational glory at the TIFF Bell Lightbox on April 17.

Harper, known for her love of pets, is a human society volunteer and cat foster mom. During their time in Ottawa, the Harpers have fostered over 160 felines and currently take care of three rescue cats, Cartier, Gypsy and Stanley.

There is no word yet as to whether the prime minister will attend the feline film fest.

The Just for Cats giggles won’t end in Toronto. The film festival is slated to continue its tour in Montreal, Regina, Saskatoon and Vancouver.
