Prince Edward Island makes changes in senior civil service ranks

CHARLOTTETOWN - Changes are being made to the senior ranks of Prince Edward Island's civil service.

The premier's office says Michelle Dorsey will become deputy minister of Environment, Labour and Justice, and he also becomes deputy attorney general, replacing Shauna Sullivan Curley, who retired in December.

Lawyer Scott MacKenzie becomes chairman and chief executive officer of the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission effective April 21, replacing Maurice Rodgerson, who recently completed the full term of his appointment.

Doug Clow moves from his job as secretary to the Treasury Board to become vice-chairman of the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission.

Jamie Aiken becomes chief executive officer of Finance P.E.I. and Guy Gallant becomes press secretary to Premier Robert Ghiz.
