Looking good at the Oscars isn't cheap!

When Hollywood's most beautiful people descended on the 2014 Oscars red carpet on March 2, we were dazzled by flowing gowns (hello, Lupita Nyong'o!), a cute baby bump (via Kerry Washington) and showstopping glamour (ahem, Angelina Jolie).

But an Oscar outfit consists of more than just a designer gown: there's also the jewelry to take into account.

Together, both dress and bling can rack up a hefty price tag that would knock your socks off.

So, who had the most expensive Oscar 2014 ensemble? None other than the ethereal Cate Blanchett, whose red carpet look came in at a whopping $18.1M, according to Vogue UK.

The Aussie star, who won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in "Blue Jasmine," sported a nude-coloured Armani Privé gown worth $100,000 and Chopard jewelry which came in at approximately $18M.

Charlize Theron's Oscar look (Dior dress, Harry Winston jewelry) was the second most expensive ensemble of the night, coming in at $15.89 million while Sandra Bullock's ensemble (Alexander McQueen dress, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry) was the third most expensive, at $8.24 million.

"The Wolf of Wall Street" actress Margot Robbie came in 4th at $8.01M and Jennifer Garner's Oscar de la Renta gown and jewels were valued at $5 million.
