Things got complicated on last night's episode of "Big Brother Canada," as two factions within the house held strong, but one of the women took it upon herself to switch teams.
Yes, nonsensical buffoon Paul Jackson was sent home instead of helium-voiced Heather, though going into last night's episode you would have expected the exact opposite. As we recounted in our latest "BBCan2" recap, the Boys Team convinced Sarah to vote with them for Paul, thus abandoning the Girls Team's plans. There are going to be fireworks as a result, we're certain.
HuffPost Canada TV spoke with Paul about being eliminated, what the most annoying thing the house was, and who he thinks is going to take top prize.
HuffPost Canada TV: What are your thoughts on being eliminated?
Paul: I knew that I wanted my departure from the house to be epic. I didn't want to be a floater. I wanted to leave having made a statement and dividing the house. I think I accomplished that.
Who/what do you think was most responsible for your elimination, and why?
Andrew and Kenny. I think they worked the house very hard to get me eliminated because they knew I was a threat to their game. I was the only guy to have the guts to go after them. They didn't intimidate me. I'm self-assured and they knew that. That's why they came after me.
What was the hardest thing to deal with in the "BBC" house (person, place, thing)?
Person: Dealing with Andrew and his antics, the derogatory statements he made and having to listen to it hour by hour. Literally.
Place: The have-not room! That was definitely the hardest place. That room was not made for guys my size in every way, shape and form. It was uncomfortable. Not a good place to be.
Thing: Slop. Dude, slop was the grossest food I've ever had. I almost self-evicted for it. I don't wish it upon my worst enemy, except I wish it upon Andrew.
Any regrets?
No regrets. Absolutely none. This has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. I'm a motivational speaker and this opportunity gave me a chance to reach out to the masses, to let them know that you can take risks and get something out of it. I sure did. No matter who you are in life, sometimes it's worth taking risks.
Any predictions on what’s going to happen and who’s going to take it all?
Arlie is my number-one pick now. He's flying under the radar. Arlie is playing with boys but the girls like him too. He's playing a great social game. P.S., #insanedude.
'Big Brother Canada' Season 2 Cast
Season 2 of "Big Brother Canada" premieres Wednesday, March 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Slice, with a special presentation of the premiere also airing on Global. "Big Brother Canada" will continue to air three nights a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. "The Big Brother Canada Side Show" -- new this season -- will air Thursdays, following each eviction episode, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. In case that isn't enough, "Big Brother After Dark" will air seven days a week from 2 a.m. – 5 a.m. ET/11 p.m. – 2 a.m. PT.
