Fill Your Own Slurpee Day Taken WAY Too Far (TWEETS, PHOTOS)

Thursday was Bring Your Own Cup Day at 7-Eleven in Winnipeg, in which residents were invited to fill almost any container of their choosing with Slurpees.

You would think there'd be little need for the cold, sugary drinks in a city where the temperature is dipping as low as -17 degrees Celsius. But people in Winnipeg, the Slurpee capital of the world for 14 years running, picked up on the day with particular enthusiasm, alongside many others across Canada.
