Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, a man who has been in the public eye most of his life, will now get a chance to tell his own version of his story.
Trudeau will release an autobiography this fall, to be published by HarperCollins.
The "candid" memoir will take readers through Trudeau's life, beginning from his childhood at 24 Sussex, in an attempt to "show how his passion for Canada and its people took root," according to the publisher's press release.
The book will also apparently contain never-before-seen photographs from Trudeau's own collection, likely to be attractive to fans of the Canadian political family.
The proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross Society.
While the book will be published just a year before the 2015 federal election, Trudeau isn't the first politician to put out a memoir in the lead-up to a major race. Former New Democrat MP Olivia Chow, who is now running in Toronto's October mayoral election, published a memoir in January.
It also isn't the first book to show how Trudeau's early life shaped his rapid ascent into politics. HuffPost Canada's Althia Raj released an eBook about the Liberal leader in 2013.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper has also tried his hand at writing. The PM's book about hockey, called 'A Great Game,' came out last November.
