Toronto police said a 26-year-old woman was leaving the shopping mall at around 7:30 p.m. on March 19th when she was allegedly robbed by a pair of 16-year-old girls.
The woman chased the teens in an attempt to retrieve her phone. Police say she was "stabbed numerous times in the face and upper body during the attack," according to a news release.
On Monday, police arrested and charged the accused with attempted murder, robbery, aggravated assault and theft under $5,000.
The two accused cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
They were scheduled to appear in a court at 1911 Eglinton Ave. E. on Tuesday morning.
