Listen up, ladies: crop tops aren't just for models and svelte celebrities!
After Kerry Washington proved to women everywhere that pregnant ladies can rock the revealing shirt, Mindy Kaling took up the torch by rocking her own crop top with ease.
"The Mindy Project" star werked a green embellished Topshop skirt and matching crop top when she hit up the red carpet at the Paley Center on Tuesday.
Let us be clear: we think that Mindy and women of all sizes can and should rock whatever outfits they want. But, the Vogue-approved star is one of the first celebrities who isn't of the "typical" Hollywood mould to jump on the trend, arguably revitalized by Miley Cyrus in 2013, and she looks amazing, obviously.
It's really refreshing to see someone who doesn't have washboard abs (and proud of it!) rock the look and a lot of it has to do with the fabulous skirt: high-waisted and knee-length, the skirt functions to highlight the 34-year-old's small waist and toned legs without showing off her whole stomach.
In fact, Mindy makes us feel that we can now wear anything we want!
