A dog emerges from the water dripping wet. Inevitably, the pooch ambles up to you, makes eye contact, then shakes. It's over almost before it starts, only the dog seems relatively dry, while everything in the vicinity is now soaking wet.

How do they do it? It's actually quite a remarkable story. The whole amazing process is captured on this great slow motion video from the The Discovery Channel.
