In a city where even closets can be rented for a pretty penny, it's hard to find a suitable (read: affordable) Vancouver home.
But a listing set to hit the market on Monday could perk up some spirits.
Located at 2622 Clark Drive in East Vancouver, the house's $599,000 price tag is expected to be the lowest for a detached freehold home in the city, The Province reports.
Vancouver is among the Canadian cities where an average income will no longer buy you a house.
The three bed, two bath house is priced low because it faces busy Clark Drive and, according to the paper, is on a smaller lot than others in the neighbourhood.
This hidden gem was originally built in 1910, as per a previous listing.
