Man Arrested For 'Barbecuing' Meth In Apartment

Man Arrested For 'Barbecuing' Meth

A report of a bad smell led police to a man cooking suspected methamphetamines on his third-floor apartment balcony.

The man was even apparently yelling at his Abbotsford, B.C. neighbours while tending to his barbecue, reported The Province.

“Most people like to keep their drug production and meth labs a secret as opposed to .. bellowing out to people and calling out to people from their patio while they're in midst, allegedly, of making the drugs themselves," Abbotsford police Const. Ian MacDonald told CTV News.

MacDonald pointed out running a drug lab in a residential area is extremely dangerous.

The suspect had to be decontaminated before being taken into police custody, said The Province.

The 32-year-old man faces drug production charges.
