It's no secret that life is good in Calgary, but is it really as wonderful as people say?

High wages, low taxes, excellent quality of life, proximity to nature and cleanliness are all touted as reasons to leave life behind in other parts of Canada and call Calgary home, instead.

"Everything I have read has stated that Calgary is the place to move to. Is it really that much better than where you moved from and as great as all of the articles make it out to be?" he asked on the /calgary sub-reddit.

Click through some of the answers he received in the slideshow below and be sure to let us know in the comments if you think Calgary deserves the hype.
