Newfoundland and Labrador Liberals to meet in June to prepare for election

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - The Newfoundland and Labrador Liberals will hold an annual general meeting in June.

The party says the gathering will give them an opportunity to identify priorities as it prepares for the next election.

Led by Dwight Ball, the Liberals have 11 seats in the legislature while the governing Progressive Conservatives, who will select their next leader at a convention in July, have 33 members.

There are three NDP members and one vacant seat.

The Liberal meeting is scheduled from June 13 to 15 in Gander.
