York Regional Police went out in force Saturday looking for an elderly man with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Samuel Adomako, 66, was last seen Friday at 3 p.m. by his wife when he left his home in Vaughan.

Adomako is said to often go for walks, but would call home if he was going to stay out late. He didn’t do that this time and police are concerned for his safety. Adomako has gone missing before, but never for this long.

Twenty-two officers and a helicopter were searching the area by Saturday evening.
