Rachel Hannah, 28, passed the finish line in just over 32 minutes and 32 seconds, according to stats posted online after the race.
Hannah told CBC News that the conditions were great and she enjoyed her run down Toronto’s biggest street.
"It’s always a fun race for me," said Hannah, who has run the race for three consecutive years.
Eric Gillis, 33, of Guelph, Ont., was the first man across the finish line on Sunday morning. The two-time Olympian clocked in at just over 28 minutes and 31 seconds.
"It was really nice to win today," said Gillis, who previously placed second in the race.
The Canada Running Series website indicates that the men and women’s course records were both set in 2007. That year, Stephen Koskei finished in 27:47 and Florence Jepkoskei finished in 31:42.Suggest a correction
