The family of Andrea White is expected to make a statement this afternoon, just two days after police say she was fatally wounded by shots fired at her home.

Toronto police say that a white Land Rover drove past White's home on Forest Creek Pathway just after 11 p.m. on Saturday. The vehicle then made a U-turn, passing by the home again.

Police allege that shots were fired from the passenger side of the vehicle. White was struck while in her garage. She was brought into her home by family and friends and then collapsed. Police say she died soon after.

Two men — 21-year-old Michael Davani and 23-year-old Alwayne Bigby — have since been charged with first-degree murder.

Both men were due to appear in court on Monday.

White's family is expected to make a statement to the media at 4 p.m., at a police station near Highway 401 and McCowan Road.
