Toronto police are set to provide an update this evening on their investigation into the death of Andrea White.

White was fatally wounded on Saturday night, after police say shots were fired from a Land Rover that drove past her home on Forest Creek Pathway.

Police say White was struck while in her garage. The 33-year-old was helped into her home by family and friends and soon collapsed. Police say she then died in her home.

The slain woman's family has said that White, a mother of four, was a "pillar of the community."

Two men have been charged with first-degree murder.

Police say they will update the media on their investigation at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

A vigil is being held on White's street at the same time that police are providing their update.
