Back when I started working at a newspaper in the late-90s, one of my favourite things was receiving handwritten hate mail. As we all know, it's easy — too easy — to get angry via email or comments, but it takes great vengeance and furious anger to write it down on paper, buy a stamp, address an envelope and put it in the mail box. It rarely happens nowadays, but when it does, it's gold.
And so I give you this Easter letter to the editor, tweeted by the Ottawa Citizen's managing editor Andrew Potter, sent by a fan of "the messiah" Justin Bieber.
