Here at The Huffington Post B.C. we're suckers for incredible architecture and design, so when we came across the newly finished studio space of Vancouver's Scott & Scott Architects, we jumped at the chance to share it with you.
The firm, comprised of husband and wife David and Susan Scott, refurbished a studio on the bottom floor of their East Vancouver home.

Scott & Scott Architects Studio
While Scott & Scott was launched in 2013, they originally didn't have their own studio, Dezeen reports. So they created one themselves.
The space was previously a butcher shop and then a grocery store, Gessato reports. It was built in 1911.
With a huge window facing the street not only allows for maximum natural light, but it also allows passersby to catch a glimpse of professional architects at work.
The 70 square metre studio is covered with fir supplied from a Vancouver Island sawyer, reports Arch Daily. According to Gessato, the wood was finished with beeswax and Canadian whiskey. To see how it was put together, watch this video.
Scott & Scott has also been making waves since their Vancouver Island Alpine Cabin received the Architizer A+ award, but more on that to come.
