Zhang Ziyi is a stunning actress who normally has flawless style (see this) but the Chinese star fell flat when she attended the closing ceremony of the 2014 Beijing International Film Festival on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old sported a head-turning dress, but for all the wrong reasons.
Wearing a floral black-and-pink Carolina Herrera trench gown, "The Grandmaster" star looked as if she was covered in a paint explosion, thanks to the huge flower print.
The dress' saving grace? The unique teardrop neckline, the matching belt and the buttons, which traveled along from Ziyi's bust down to her knee.
Although we don't like the print, we have to applaud the "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" star for daring to take such a huge risk.
Fortunately, Ziyi's makeup and hair were on-point: a chic updo and fuchsia lip complemented the dress nicely.
