It's almost time for Cannes 2014 but that doesn't mean that festival regular Aishwarya Rai will be staying out of the spotlight until then.
The 40-year-old Bollywood actress attended the commemoration of the third death anniversary of Indian guru and spiritual leader Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Mumbai on Sunday.
Ash, an ex-student of the Sathya Sai Bal Vikas program, was invited as a guest of honour to pay tribute to Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and she did so while wearing a respectful (and beautiful) green-and-gold anarkali suit that brought out her famous green eyes.
Wearing her signature cat eye makeup and straight locks (a departure from her usual thick blow-out), the L'Oreal Paris spokeswoman looked ravishing but not overdone so as to not take attention away from the solemn occasion.
The next time we will most likely spot the "Guru" star will be in May during the Cannes Film Festival, which she will be attending this year with her husband, Abhishek Bachchan.
Last year, the brunette beauty wowed in a gold sari and a teal satin gown, among others, so we can't wait to see what she pulls out of her designer closet this time.
