UPDATE - May 2, 2014: Saanich police have confirmed the two deaths as a murder suicide. Neil Harvey, 59, is believed to have killed his wife, Anne Harvey, 61, and then later himself, said investigators in a news release.

VICTORIA - Police in Saanich, B.C., could release more information today about the deaths of a man and a woman in that Victoria suburb.

Officers will only say the deaths appear to be linked but they have few other details.

A woman was found dead in a Saanich home at about 2:30 on Monday afternoon and a man's body was pulled from the waters off Oak Bay about an hour later.

Investigators are still trying to clarify how the pair may have known each other.

Police have not yet determined if this is a murder-suicide but say they are confident the public is not at risk. (CFAX)
