Although it doesn't have the reunion of a seminal rock band like The Replacements as was the case last year, the 2014 Toronto edition of Riot Fest comes with a far bigger lineup and a new location.

The National, Flaming Lips, Death Cab For Cutie, Rise Against, Metric, and Social Distortion are just some of the bigger names confirmed for the two-day festival slated for Downsview Park. Besides Metric, other Canadian bands include City and Colour, Death From Above 1979, Tokyo Police Club, Stars, Billy Talent and PUP.

The lineup will also feature Afghan Whigs, Taking Back Sunday, Bob Mould, Paul Weller, Thurston Moore, Brand New, Dropkick Murphys, Manchester Orchestra, Circa Survive, The Head and The Heart, Buzzcocks and Die Antwoord among others. In addition, the move from the Garrison Grounds at Fort York to Downsview Park will result in four stages, carnival rides and side show performers.

Tickets for the event go on sale May 10 at 10 a.m. Eastern. According to Ticketfly a two-day pass (all-ages) starts at $99.98 while VIP passes (19 or older) go for $199.98. The VIP pass comes with priority entry, access to VIP bathrooms, a souvenir laminate, priority access to an autograph tent and private bar and food services.

Last year's Riot Fest in Toronto included Dinosaur Jr., Iggy and the Stooges, Pierce The Veil, Rocket From The Crypt and Weakerthans among others.
