Darth Vader Robber No Match For The (Vancouver Police) Force

A failed robbery, this was.

A woman wearing a Darth Vader mask allegedly robbed a 23-year-old woman at gunpoint on Tuesday morning, said Vancouver police in a news release. The suspect fled with some cash.

Police located "Darth Vader" nearby, still wearing the mask. Officers arrested the 20-year-old woman and found a replica gun in her possession. Charges of robbery with a firearm and weapons offences are pending.

“Unfortunately for this robber, she underestimated the power of the force,” said VPD Sgt. Randy Fincham.

The victim, who was walking near Oak Street, was not hurt.
